Our clients benefit from our adoption of the same regulatory disciplines and standards of other key advisors that a company uses. Our buy side/investing readership, welcome the 'badge' of regulation that illustrate the financial services experience of our analysts, as one senior fund manager put it: 'would you buy a car without an MOT...or a house without a report from a qualified surveyor?'

In areas of specialist skills, such as raising equity finance, the recent high profile debate stimulated by the listing of Cape Diamonds (see Financial Times, Daily Telegraph 10/01/07), illustrates the risk to reputation when not working with regulated professionals in this field.
